Seats
The majority of 3 wheel double buggies start life as single pushchairs, but some can be converted to take the seat of a second person or carrycot by converting adapters (these are usually more common in tandem buggies). Certain models let you add an extra board to older children who are able to walk, but require assistance.
Check out the Joie Evalite Duo for an ideal, lightweight solution for city streets. It's a breeze to move and comes with a large basket that has plenty of storage space. It can accommodate twins from at birth and can accommodate two car seats or a carrycot with a seat. The seats must face towards the front and there is no space for an item under the seat. You will need a sidepack.
If you like to travel off-road and off-road, the Mountain Buggy Duet is a great choice. It's a side-by- side model with the most compact footprint of any double buggy on the market. It is easier to get through narrow doors as well as on public transport. It is also able to climb over and over kerbs. The adjustable handlebar has an integrated handbrake to increase safety and security.
Another option that is light weight is the UPPAbaby Vista 2 Double, which can be used to accommodate twins or a baby and toddler. The seats are multi-positional reclining with UPF 50plus sunshades. It's an all terrain pushchair, with a soft suspension to make smooth work of bumpy surfaces. It has 30 different seating configurations, a built-in board for older children who like to walk, and a 'cinema' mode which raises the back seat for better visibility.
Alternately, the phil&teds dots is a brilliant single buggy from the beginning that can then easily adapt to take 2 (or 3!) different configurations. This is particularly helpful for parents with children in a car seat as the frame can be fitted with a wedgie to allow for optimal lie-flat positioning, or car seat adapters to various brands.
Suspension
The suspension of a triple wheeled buggy will determine how easily your child/children and you can push it. A smooth ride is crucial because babies feel every bump in the road, particularly if it's in rough terrain such as grass or unpaved paths. Certain models come with locking front tires to aid in maneuvering and navigating obstacles like curbs.
Some models have tyres with air filled that are great for all-terrain rides, but they are prone to punctures. Be sure to keep a spare set of tyres in the trunk. Others have foam or gel tyres, which are specifically designed to handle bumps and are less susceptible to punctures, but you might feel a bit stiff and uncomfortable for your child's back should you decide to run.

Folding

3 wheel buggy -wheeled double buggy can be folded up neatly for storage. There are models that fold flat and stand up (as though they were in the shape of a pushchair) and others that open to reveal a more umbrella-style folding, with a hand-operated break. The more wheels a buggy has, in general the easier it will be to maneuver on rough terrain. This is especially true if the wheels are bigger than the average size. You will have more stability, and it is less likely that you will have to tip over or flip your child.
The iCandy Wave is a popular option. It can be used in conjunction with an infant car-seat as early as birth and then transformed into a double buggy side-by-side when your child is old. It is a lightweight option that is simple to push. It also comes with a bumper bar and a rain cover.
The phil&teds sports is another option. It is future-proof as it's an excellent buggy, and can be modified to take two (or three!) All of this is contained in its small footprint. It has an innovative three-wheel design that includes a sling for greater maneuverability and stability.
This is one of the most comfortable double buggies to run with your kids. It features an adjustable front wheel that locks, that will allow you to keep your balance on hilly or off-road terrain. It features a big undercarriage, a movable handlebar, and soft suspension to provide a comfortable ride.
It's a lightweight and compact model that can be folded by one hand, making it great for travel. It's compatible with a wide range of infant car seats and has an undercarriage basket that can be pulled out that can be used to store shopping. It is a bit expensive, but it has certain standout features, such as its one-click folding, as well as a variety of extras, including a bumper bar or raincover.
Storage
